Session overview:
Step into Nottingham Castle for an exciting adventure! Through storytelling, sensory exploration, role play and building a castle activity, children will discover what a castle is, who might have lived there, and why castles were built.
Children will explore our castle’s grounds, feel the ancient stone walls, listen to the sounds around them, and imagine what life might have been like long ago! They will become brave knights, march through the castle gates, meet the castle’s lion guardians, enjoy a specially created story, and build their own castles using Lego (TM) and Duplo bricks. This playful, experience-led session encourages curiosity and imagination while introducing children to castles and the past!
