Tell us a bit about yourselves! What’s your name, and what do you sell?

I’m Emma Britton, Decorative Glass Designer. I design and decorate glassware in my local studio, making thoughtful gifts perfect for couples, mums and gardeners. I’ve designed a range exclusively for Nottingham Castle inspired by the native Nottingham Catchfly plant that was re-introduced to the Castle in time for the opening.

What would you recommend as the perfect luxury gift from your range?

An etched catchfly carafe paired with matching wine glasses! Adding two or four glasses would make a really special gift.

What would you recommend as the perfect stocking filler from your range?

A tumbler! They are a sweet plant pot shape and you can choose from ‘seedling’, ‘bud’ or ‘bloom’. You could pair this with some Nottingham Catchfly seeds, also available from the Castle Shop.

What’s your favourite thing about working with Nottingham Castle?

Being from Nottingham, it is a real honour to have designed an exclusive collection for my home town. Inspired by the County’s native flower, is close to my heart as most of my designs are floral.

Finally, what’s your favourite Christmas tipple?

I like a festive spiced gin and a classic mulled wine!
