The Castle Trust is delighted to welcome to the team our new Director of Commercial and Customer Services, Debbie Beardall.
Debbie brings to the Castle Trust team an impressive depth and range of experience across the both the hospitality and cultural heritage sector.
Passionate about the hospitality industry she has spent 20 years in management in several establishments, including General Manager at the White Swan Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon. Since 2009, she has worked at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, which cares for William Shakespeare’s family homes in Stratford-upon-Avon. Promoting the enjoyment and understanding of his life, works and times through a heritage visitor attraction, collections and educational programs. Working initially in Operations as Front of House Manager at Shakespeare’s Birthplace, then House Manager, she went on to be Head of Sales & Business Development and Acting Director of Operations & Marketing.
Debbie is excited to be bringing her wealth of expertise in sales & business development and operations to this role. She will be leading the development and operation of commercial activities at Nottingham Castle when it re-opens following our transformational redevelopment project.
