Robin Hood - A local history study

Go to Nottingham City Museums

The engaging stories of Robin Hood have been told many times over the centuries and this session at Nottingham Castle Museum brings these stories to life for younger pupils through activities, costume, animal specimens, objects and sounds.

Robin Hood, Maid Marian and the Sheriff of Nottingham along with the band of Merry Men are waiting to reveal stories of life many years ago to their young visitors.

How did they manage to remain hidden in the forest?

Was their food different to food we eat today?

What plants and animals did Robin encounter?

Who will win the archery competition between the Sheriff of Nottingham and Robin Hood?

Duration 1.5 hours 10.30-12 or 1-2.30

Cost per session £180
