In partnership with our volunteer and historian David Young, we’re pleased to announce a Talk, “The Story of the Castle”
This event will happen each weekend in November here at Nottingham Castle.
📅 Tuesdays & Thursdays in November & December (from the 28th November – excluding Boxing Day).

However, you can purchase your ticket in person at Nottingham Castle – subject to capacity.

During the hour, you will hear all the important events that happened at the Castle since medieval times.
Historical talk recommended for adults, 16 years +
David’s talks bring the history of Nottingham Castle to life with the tales of 11 monarchs and consorts, which covers 600 years of the Castle’s heritage from William the Conqueror to the destruction of the medieval castle in the 17th century.
This Talk is an optional extra ticket. Standard Admission to the site applies in addition to this Talk ticket, with the ‘Pay Once Come All Year Round’ ticket that is Adult: £12, Kids Go Free (15 years & under, up to three children per paying adult).
