Inside the Ducal Palace there are a range of galleries & exhibitions to inspire all ages about the History of Nottingham. This includes: The Nottingham Lace Gallery, the Craft Gallery, Museum & Art collections in the Long Gallery, the Museum of the Mercian Regiment, the Rebellion Gallery and the Robin Hood Adventures, which contains interactive & immersive displays.
In the visitor centre, our team are on hand to assist with your admission to the Castle. Inside the shop & café there are a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. The visitor centre is located on arrival to the Nottingham Castle.
Fun in the Castle! Children will love to swing, slide, climb, jump and play through our historical amazing creative timber play structures.

We have two cafés on site that offers a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. Our shop is located in the visitor centre.
For visitors to enjoy regular walks & wellbeing in the heart of the city of Nottingham. The site offers an annual pass so that visitors can access the grounds on an unlimited basis.
This Museum at Brewhouse Yard has been part of Nottingham’s changing story and important cloth trades for hundreds of years; affecting the lives of many of the city’s different communities. It is located at the base of the Nottingham Castle site and its postcode is: NG7 1FB
Nottingham Castle in the heart of the city is within walking distance of the city’s train station and Nottingham’s Old Market Square. The city also has an eco-friendly public transport system, however you choose to travel.
Visitor parking is not available on site. Nottingham City Centre Parking Guide for public car parks in the city.
Blue badge parking is subject to availability so pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Special event dates are not available.

Personal drone flying is not permitted at Nottingham Castle. This helps us preserve the unique character of the site, protect wildlife and maintain a tranquil environment for everyone.
