Ducal Palace: Museum & Galleries

Inside the Ducal Palace there are a range of galleries & exhibitions to inspire all ages about the History of Nottingham. This includes: The Nottingham Lace Gallery, the Craft Gallery, Museum & Art collections in the Long Gallery, the Museum of the Mercian Regiment, the Rebellion Gallery and the Robin Hood Adventures, which contains interactive & immersive displays.

Visitor centre

In the visitor centre, our team are on hand to assist with your admission to the Castle. Inside the shop & café there are a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. The visitor centre is located on arrival to the Nottingham Castle.

We have two cafés on site that offers a range of options for you to refuel with seating available. Our shop is located in the visitor centre.

Located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, it’s easy to reach Nottingham Castle. The Castle is within walking distance of the city’s train station and is just five minutes’ walk from Nottingham’s central Old Market Square. The city also has a fantastic, eco-friendly public transport system, so getting here is simple, however you choose to travel.
